E-filing: Are you aware of the benefits?

This year, the IRS is mandating that large firms e-file all federal individual, estate, and trust tax returns unless individuals opt out. Also, the State of Maryland is mandating that large firms e-file all Maryland individual tax returns unless individuals opt out. We believe more and more states will adopt this same policy soon. E-filing allows you to receive your refunds faster via direct deposit into your bank account. If you owe with your tax return, electronic withdrawal from your bank account will not occur until April 15th — not the actual day your tax return is e-filed. E-filing is secure, fast, and efficient.
